Our courts mean well, but we all know the system can be unfriendly to people without lawyers.  
Many courts happily sell paper form sets that end up further overwhelming you, adding confusion.  Some courts post rules without clear actionable instructions around
how to proceed efficiently.  That can lead to lots of guessing
and uncertainty.  The experience can even be traumatizing. 

Access to cash is a really lousy basis for making custody
decisions while using traditional lawyers can bankrupt you,
even when you "win".

There has to be a better way.
